The client was looking for a practical, earthy, central heart to their newly extended home.
The kitchen needed to be a place able to accommodate many moods and activities, from quiet breakfasts and baking, to hiding away mess in a hurry to host visitors around the expansive island hub.
The solution: a large pantry with extra workspace, inner drawers, Le Mans corner unit and open shelving for appliances and food storage concealed behind 3 sliding doors. Wine bottles, oils and baking trays are in drawers specifically designed for purpose, along with vertical storage for platters.
The result: a practical layout with use of quiet appliances, cork flooring and manufactured stone tops together with colourboardin tones derived directly from Mother Nature’s own colour palette to provide a wonderful space for all occasions.
