Terms and conditions of the Master Joiners Complaint process
A. The New Zealand Joinery Manufacturers Federation on accepting the complaint may contact other parties related to the complaint to verify or clarify information provided. While the complaint is under review by us, no other parties should be contacted or involved without the New Zealand Joinery Manufacturers Federation’s permission.
B. In the event the New Zealand Joinery Manufacturers Federation recommends independent mediation services to both parties the complaint will be closed. The parties shall be responsible for engaging mediation services and for any fees related to that service.
C. All information submitted will be shared with both parties and is confidential to the complaints process. Please ensure you do not copy other parties to the internal communication, post to social media or other digital platforms.
D. The New Zealand Joinery Manufacturers Federation agrees to do its best to encourage the parties to the complaint to agree on an outcomes, however your legal contract will always be with the Master Joiner Member and or between the parties.
E. Any slighting against the New Zealand Joinery Manufacturers Federation or any of it’s members will be legally acted upon.
F. We do not tolerate abusive, threatening or aggressive conduct. Our volunteers and employees reserve the right to report any abusive or aggressive behaviour.
G. You acknowledge that The New Zealand Joinery Manufacturers Federation do not provide report services and where it is determined necessary to engage technical expertise or to make site visits you may be charged for that engagement. We will let you know if that is required and what costs if any are involved.
