Client Brief
Our client’s vision for their kitchen renovation was a space that would fit timelessly within their 101-year-old heritage home whilst still being unique, functional and having colour in the kitchen was essential.
An 1100mm freestanding oven and a separate wall oven were a requirement along with a feature to the island. The biggest challenge was working within the narrow space. We overcame this by creating an area to the end of the island where people could gather without restricting the walkthrough.
Key Features
TOE KICKS – 150mm high detailed toe kicks around the island, end posts and island benchtop support.
ISLAND SUPPORT – Detailed support under the island matching the ogee benchtop edge.
CEILING MOULDING – Detailed 60mm high moulding around all tall and wall units to tie in with the toe kicks.
CORBELS – The Woodsmiths wood corbels in a lacquered satin finish with a display shelf above.
CHOPPING BOARD – Bamboo pull out chopping board with a removable scrap hole. Oiled finish.
PANTRY WORKBENCH – 30mm thick benchtop inside the pantry for extra working space.

BENCHTOP – 30mm thick Primestone Crius, polished finish. Square arris to oven wall benchtops with an ogee detailed edge to the island.
SINK – Acero DG290RT-B Duro Granite black undermounted double bowl sink.
CARCASS – Prime Panels 16mm white melamine with 1mm PVC edging.
CABINET FRONTS – Rhonda door profile in lacquered paint finish Resene G62-026- 193 Under Cover in a satin finish. Clear glass lattice doors to selected wall units.
DRAWER RUNNERS -Blum Legra box in silk white matt.
HANDLES – Elite Hardware 2048AP cup & 3801AP knob in an Antique Pewter finish
LIGHTING – Arctic Lights LED strip lighting in cool white under wall units. FIT LED spot lights to the inside of glass wall units and inside the pantry.
